Built in 1975 to replace a previous building, the complex has a main hall and separate committee room, recently refurbished and renamed as the Russell Room and was further extended with the addition of an annexe in the 1980's. Although independent from the Village Hall Management Committee (VHMC), within the grounds are very active outdoor bowling and tennis clubs. There is also a large recreational area with children's play area.
The Village Hall is managed on behalf of the Parish Council by the VHMC which is a registered charity (number 270967). The committee meets monthly and is comprised of volunteer trustees drawn from the local area including representatives of hall user groups. New volunteers are always welcome.
The committee employs a small part-time staff responsible for administration, caretaking and minor maintenance.
